MediaTech Central Europe, a. s. respects your privacy. Our aim is to offer you a full service, therefore we need to know some of your personal data. We protect this data from misuse and guarantee that it will not be disclosed to any third party, except for the recipients as defined in point 3 below. This applies to your identification and contact details which we need for the purpose of direct marketing.
In the case of natural persons, this includes the following personal data: title, first and last name, home address or delivery address, telephone number and e-mail address. In the case of legal entities or sole traders, this includes the following data: business name, registered office or place of business address, registration number, tax identification number, VAT number, telephone number and e-mail address.
If you have provided us with personal data, this will only be used for the following purposes:
- The proper provision of our services to customers, related to the provision of our services and for technical administration necessary for the proper provision of our services on www.mediatech.sk, all on the legal basis of the performance of a contract to which you as the data subject are a party and on the basis of your consent,
- for marketing purposes, if you have registered on www.mediatech.sk, on the legal basis of your consent expressed by your registration.

We process your personal data only for the duration of the purpose for which we obtained your personal data.
- Customer rights under data protection
As a data subject, the customer has the right to:
- the right to request access to his/her personal data from the controller within the meaning of Article 15 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) and Section 21 of Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data and on Amendments and Additions to Certain Acts (hereinafter referred to as the „Act“);
- the right to rectification of personal data by the controller within the meaning of Article 16 of the General Data Protection Regulation and Section 22 of the Act;
- the right to erasure of personal data within the meaning of Article 17 of the General Data Protection Regulation and Section 23 of the Act;
- the right to restrict the processing of personal data within the meaning of Article 18 of the General Data Protection Regulation and Section 24 of the Act;
- the right to object to the processing of personal data by the controller for direct marketing purposes, including profiling to the extent that it is related to direct marketing. If a customer objects to the processing of personal data for direct marketing purposes, the controller may no longer process that customer’s personal data for direct marketing purposes;
- the right to the portability of the customer’s personal data within the meaning of Article 20 of the General Data Protection Regulation and Article 26 of the Act;
- the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data at any time;
- the right to file a petition with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic if the customer believes that his/her rights under the General Data Protection Regulation or the Act have been directly affected.
The customer may exercise these rights with the controller at any time - in writing by sending a letter to the address of the Operator’s registered office;

- Special provisions concerning cookies
The controller, as the administrator of the www.mediatech.sk website, uses cookies on this website for the following purposes:
- Measuring website traffic and generating statistics relating to visitor traffic and behaviour on the website;
- Basic functionality of the website.
