EDL Haus is an exceptional restaurant that opened its doors in the historic center of Bratislava. This space represents a perfect combination of modern gastronomy and the authentic atmosphere of the old city. In addition to high-quality cuisine, it also offers an interior design that respects the character of the location while meeting contemporary trends.
From the very beginning of the project, our company MediaTech was involved in both the design and implementation phases, which enabled close cooperation with architects and other professionals. This approach delivered excellent results, as the audiovisual technologies were sensitively integrated into the space and became a natural part of it.
Our main task was the design and implementation of a comprehensive sound system for the premises. The system was designed to meet not only technical requirements but also aesthetic expectations.
Simple and Intuitive Control
The audio solution was divided into four zones: the main hall, the private lounge, the restrooms, and the lower part of the restaurant. Each zone is equipped with high-quality loudspeakers that ensure clear and evenly distributed sound. This zoned system was designed so that each area of the space can have its own sound character based on current needs from subtle background music for relaxed dining to more dynamic audio for special events.
An important part of the entire system is its ease of use. Restaurant staff can conveniently control the whole system from behind the bar using an installed and programmed controller. This intuitive control panel allows quick and easy adjustment of volume, selection of audio sources, and management of individual zones. This functionality increases the efficiency of daily operations and enables staff to focus fully on taking care of guests.
