Video conference in a small meeting room
In today’s world of hybrid work, a “meeting room” is no longer just a table and chairs. It is a communication hub that needs to work flawlessly from the very first click. We recently had the opportunity to deliver a project for HILTI where we started literally from scratch – the client was creating new office spaces, and our task was to design and implement a complete audiovisual solution.
The Challenge: A Turnkey Solution (from Zero to One Hundred)
Since the rooms were being built from the ground up, we were not limited by outdated cabling or unsuitable hardware. On the other hand, full responsibility for the system’s functionality and intuitive user experience rested on our design. The goal was clear: to create a professional video conferencing environment that any employee could operate without assistance from the IT department.
Technology Used: Compact Power and Elegance
For the small meeting room, we selected a proven combination of Logitech and Samsung – brands that represent the best balance of price, performance, and design.
Logitech Rally Bar Mini
This is the “brain” of the entire room. It is a premium all-in-one video bar that integrates a 4K AI-powered camera, speakers, and microphones.
Why did we choose it?
In a small meeting room, it saves valuable space, while its motorized pan-and-tilt functionality and RightSight automatic participant framing ensure every meeting looks highly professional.
Logitech Rally Mic Pod (Expansion Microphone)
Although the Logitech Rally Bar Mini already features excellent built-in microphones, we also added a tabletop Mic Pod to the setup.
- The result: Perfect speech clarity. Even when someone leans back during a discussion or speaks more quietly, the audio remains crystal clear—without echo or distracting background noise.
Samsung Professional Display
No consumer-grade TVs. We deployed a professional display panel from Samsung, built for long-term continuous operation. It offers high brightness for excellent readability even in brightly lit rooms, along with a minimalist design that complements the aesthetics of the space rather than distracting from it.
What did we bring to the project?
Our work was not just about “unboxing equipment.” We delivered a comprehensive service package to Hilti:
- Consulting and design: We analyzed the room’s acoustics and lighting conditions to select technology that would perform reliably in the real environment.
- Installation and cabling: We ensured a clean installation with no visible cables. For us, aesthetics are just as important as functionality.
- Configuration and testing: We configured the system for full compatibility with Microsoft Teams.
